Seascape Painting | A View from Brean Down with Steep Holm and Flat Holm

Landscape Painting

Background:

This is a spring-inspired painting of a local scenery found in Weston-super-Mare, in England. I and my partner went for a walk to this National Trust during my tourist visit in 2018. It’s a serene place where you can relax and breathe in fresh air. But since we walked until the end of this lengthy and steepest hill we’ve been, we chose to make our own ‘shortcut’ way of going back to the top of the hill. We’re surprised by the thorny brambles and when we’re halfway to its peak, we thought that usual way of getting back is better than making a new trail. But it’s too late to go back as it gets dark soon, so we pursued the adventure and made it to the top.
